About Scensora

Who We Are

Scensora is a bespoke fragrance house headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We design and hand-craft custom perfumes for private clients, couples, weddings, corporate brands, hotels and retail spaces.

Every Scensora fragrance is created from a blank formula. There is no base scent that we adjust, and no template that we personalise. A dedicated Scent Sommelier studies each client's brief and builds a formula specifically for them, using natural essential oils, absolutes and high-grade aroma molecules sourced from established fragrance houses.

We serve clients across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia as our core markets, and also work with clients in Hong Kong, Australia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. In-person Atelier consultations are available in Malaysia and Singapore; all other services are conducted remotely by video call, with handcrafted samples shipped to the client.

What We Offer

Scensora offers the following bespoke fragrance services:

• Signature Scent (from RM499) — A personal bespoke fragrance created remotely. The client completes a 33-question fragrance questionnaire, receives a virtual consultation, and is sent handcrafted samples before the final 100ml bottle is produced.
• Bespoke Atelier Experience (from RM699) — An in-person session with a Scent Sommelier who brings a curated case of over 80 fragrance materials. The client smells, evaluates and blends live, then designs their own bottle, cap and label.
• Couple's & Anniversary Fragrance (from RM999) — A shared bespoke fragrance created for two people together, using the in-person Atelier process.
• Gift Experience (from RM550) — A bespoke fragrance commissioned as a gift, guided by the purchaser's knowledge of the recipient.
• Wedding Fragrance & Door Gifts — Bespoke wedding scents and personalised 50ml bottles produced in volume as wedding favours. We have produced batches of 150+ bottles for single weddings.
• Corporate, Hotel & Retail Scenting — Signature scent identities developed for brands, hotels, resorts and retail environments.
• Fragrance Workshops & Private Events — Group perfume-making sessions and scent discovery experiences for corporate teams and private groups.

How Bespoke Perfume Works at Scensora

A bespoke perfume differs from a commercial perfume in one fundamental way: it is designed for a single person rather than for the widest possible market. The process at Scensora runs as follows.

The client first completes a detailed questionnaire covering their personality, memories, lifestyle, occasions and scent preferences. A dedicated Scent Sommelier then studies this brief and develops fragrance directions in response — two directions for the Signature Scent service, three for the Atelier tier.

The client receives handcrafted 5ml samples of each direction and wears them over several days in their own environment. They then give feedback, and revisions are made until the fragrance is exactly right. Only once the client has given explicit written approval does production of the final 100ml bottle begin.

Each completed formula is archived permanently under the client's name and reference number. It can be reordered at any time and is never sold, shared or reproduced for anyone else.

Our Ingredients and Standards

Scensora uses both natural and synthetic fragrance materials. We select whichever ingredient best serves its role in a formula, rather than favouring one category on ideological grounds. Our naturals include essential oils, absolutes and resins. Our synthetics are high-grade aroma molecules sourced from established fragrance ingredient houses.

All Scensora fragrances are formulated in compliance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) safety guidelines. We do not use animal-derived ingredients, including natural musk and ambergris. We do not conduct or commission animal testing at any stage of our process.

Clients with known fragrance allergies or skin sensitivities are asked to disclose them during the questionnaire or consultation, and those materials are excluded from their formula.

Scensora is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and serves four core markets across Southeast Asia. Shipping is free throughout the region.

Bespoke Perfume in Malaysia

Malaysia is our home market. Clients in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor Bahru and across the country can access every Scensora service, including in-person Bespoke Atelier sessions where a Scent Sommelier brings a case of over 80 fragrance materials to a location of the client's choosing. Personal bespoke fragrances start from RM499.

Bespoke Perfume in Singapore

Scensora serves clients throughout Singapore. Both the remote Signature Scent service and the in-person Bespoke Atelier Experience are available, with Atelier sessions arranged by appointment. Delivery to Singapore is free. Personal bespoke fragrances start from SGD 168.

Custom Fragrance in Thailand

Clients across Thailand — including Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Pattaya — commission bespoke fragrances with Scensora through our remote process. The questionnaire, video consultation, sample rounds and revisions are all completed without travel. Delivery to Thailand is free. Fragrances start from THB 4,499.

Personalised Perfume in Indonesia

Scensora creates bespoke fragrances for clients throughout Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya and Bandung. The complete process is conducted remotely, with handcrafted 5ml samples shipped to the client before the final bottle is produced. Delivery to Indonesia is free.

Beyond Southeast Asia

We also serve clients in Hong Kong, Australia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. All services outside Malaysia and Singapore are delivered remotely. Flat-rate international shipping applies: USD 20 to Australia and New Zealand, USD 25 to the Middle East, USD 28 to Europe, USD 35 to the Americas, and USD 38 to Africa.

Why Choose a Bespoke Perfume

Most people wear a fragrance that was designed for a demographic, tested in focus groups and produced in millions of units. It may smell excellent. It was not made for them.

A bespoke perfume is formulated in response to a single individual's brief, their skin, their climate and the occasions they intend to wear it for. Clients typically commission bespoke fragrances to mark a milestone — a graduation, a wedding, an anniversary, a career transition — or simply because they have searched for years and never found a scent that felt genuinely theirs.
