THE BESPOKE PROCESS
What exactly is a bespoke fragrance and how is it different from buying a perfume off the shelf?

A bespoke fragrance is created from scratch, exclusively for you. No two Scensora fragrances are the same — yours is formulated in direct response to your personality, memories, lifestyle, preferences and intentions, by a human perfumer who has read and considered everything you've shared.

A commercial fragrance is designed to appeal to the widest possible audience and is produced in millions of units. A bespoke fragrance is designed to appeal to exactly one person: you. It is formulated for your skin chemistry, your climate, your occasions, and your sense of who you are — and it is the only bottle of that formula in existence.

How long does the entire bespoke process take from start to finish?

For the Signature Scent (remote process): typically 2–3 weeks from confirmed payment to delivery of your final fragrance, assuming timely communication at each stage.

For the Bespoke Atelier Experience and Couple's / Anniversary service (in-person process): typically 3–5 weeks, depending on scheduling availability and revision requirements.

All projects have a maximum completion window of 6 months. In practice, most are completed well within 4 weeks.

What if I don't know anything about fragrance? Do I need to be an expert?

Absolutely not. In fact, some of our most meaningful creations have come from clients who had no prior fragrance knowledge at all. Our questionnaire and consultation are designed for real people, not fragrance enthusiasts.

You don't need to know the difference between top notes and base notes. You just need to be able to describe how you want to feel, what memories matter to you, and what kind of impression you want to leave. Your Sommelier handles everything else.

How many revisions am I entitled to?

Each service includes a set number of revision rounds:

  • Signature Scent: up to 2 revision rounds
  • Bespoke Atelier Experience / Couple's / Anniversary: up to 3 revision rounds
  • Gift Experience: up to 2 revision rounds

In practice, most projects are resolved in one revision. Additional rounds beyond the included allowance may be available at a supplementary charge. Your Sommelier will always advise you before any additional fees apply.

Can I reorder my fragrance in the future?

Yes — your formula is archived under your name and reference number indefinitely. You can reorder at any time, and your fragrance will be produced to the exact same formula. Reorders are typically fulfilled within 5–7 business days. Contact us directly to place a reorder.

SERVICES & PRICING
What is the difference between the Signature Scent and the Bespoke Atelier Experience?

The Signature Scent is our remote bespoke service. You complete a detailed questionnaire, receive a virtual consultation, and we handcraft and ship samples to you. The entire process happens without you needing to meet us in person — ideal for clients outside our area or who prefer the convenience of a remote process.

The Bespoke Atelier Experience is our premium in-person service. Your Scent Sommelier comes to you (or you visit us) with a curated case of over 80 fragrance materials. You smell, explore, blend and discover in real time — it is closer to a private workshop than a traditional consultation. The result is a deeper understanding of your preferences and, typically, a more nuanced final fragrance.

How much fragrance do I receive with my order?

Sample bottles provided during the revision process are 5ml each. Your final bespoke fragrance is produced and delivered as a 100ml / 3.4 fl.oz Eau de Parfum or Extrait de Parfum, depending on the service. The exact concentration is discussed and confirmed with your Sommelier during the process.

Can I order a bespoke fragrance as a gift for someone else?

Yes — our Gift Experience service is designed exactly for this. You guide the brief based on your knowledge of the recipient — their personality, preferences, lifestyle and the occasion. Our Sommelier creates a fragrance that reflects who they are, as interpreted through your love and understanding of them.

Alternatively, you can purchase a Scensora Gift Voucher, allowing the recipient to complete the questionnaire and guide the process themselves. Contact us to arrange a gift voucher.

Do you offer fragrance services for weddings and corporate events?

Yes. Scensora offers bespoke fragrance services for weddings (a signature scent for your wedding day and as personalised gifts), corporate brand scenting, hotel and hospitality fragrance, and private group workshop experiences. SAMPLES, DELIVERY & SHIPPING
Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Delivery within Southeast Asia is complimentary. For all other regions, a flat-rate shipping fee applies based on your destination. Full details of shipping rates and estimated delivery times by region are available on our Shipping & Delivery page.

How long does delivery take after my fragrance is ready?

Delivery times begin after your fragrance has been produced and dispatched (typically 4–5 business days after your approval):

  • Southeast Asia: 10–14 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 7–12 business days
  • Middle East: 7–12 business days
  • Europe: 8–14 business days
  • Americas: 10–16 business days
  • Africa: 12–18 business days

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Will I need to pay customs or import duties?

Customs duties and import taxes vary by country and are the responsibility of the recipient. Most shipments for personal-use fragrance are subject to minimal or no duties, but we recommend checking your country's import regulations if you are concerned. Scensora is not responsible for customs delays or charges imposed by local authorities.

INGREDIENTS & SAFETY
Are Scensora fragrances safe for sensitive skin?

All Scensora fragrances are formulated in accordance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines for skin safety. If you have known allergies or sensitivities to specific ingredients, please disclose these in your questionnaire or during consultation — your Sommelier will avoid those materials in your formula. We always recommend a patch test on a small area of skin before wearing a new fragrance.

Do you use natural or synthetic ingredients?

Both. We select the best available ingredient for each role in your formula — whether that is a natural essential oil, absolute, or a high-quality synthetic aroma chemical. We do not subscribe to the ideology that natural is always superior or that synthetic is always inferior. We source verified naturals and use the finest synthetic molecules available from leading fragrance ingredient houses.

Are Scensora fragrances cruelty-free?

Yes. Scensora does not use any animal-derived ingredients and does not conduct or commission animal testing at any stage of our creation process. We are committed to ethical sourcing and responsible formulation as a matter of principle, not just policy.
