Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your engagement with Scensora Bespoke Fragrance ("Scensora", "we", "us", "our") and apply to all services offered through our website, questionnaire, and direct client communications. By placing an order, submitting a questionnaire, or engaging our services in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

Scensora operates as a bespoke fragrance creation service. Our services are personalised, made-to-order, and involve significant creative and material investment on our part from the moment a project is initiated. These Terms exist to ensure a fair, transparent and professional relationship between Scensora and our clients, and to protect both parties throughout the creative process.

Scensora offers the following bespoke fragrance services:

• Signature Scent — A personalised bespoke fragrance created remotely via questionnaire and virtual consultation
• Bespoke Atelier Experience — An in-person private session with a Scent Sommelier, including a curated fragrance material exploration
• Couple's / Anniversary Fragrance — A shared bespoke fragrance creation experience for two individuals
• Gift Experience — A bespoke fragrance created as a gift, guided by the purchaser's brief on behalf of the recipient
• Corporate & Brand Fragrance — Bespoke scent creation for commercial and branding applications
• Group & Private Events — Fragrance workshops and experiences for private groups and corporate teams

All services are subject to availability and may be adjusted, combined or customised by agreement between Scensora and the client prior to payment.

An order is considered confirmed and binding upon receipt of full payment. Scensora does not begin any creative or material work prior to payment confirmation. Upon confirmation, you will receive:

• An order confirmation email with your unique reference number
• An invoice for your records
• Direct contact details for your assigned Scent Sommelier
• Access to or confirmation of your fragrance questionnaire

All prices are displayed in the currency relevant to your detected location. Shipping charges, where applicable, are added to the total at checkout and displayed clearly before payment is processed. By completing payment, you agree to the full amount including any applicable shipping fees.

Scensora accepts payment via Stripe (card) and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely through our payment providers. Scensora does not store card details.

The bespoke fragrance creation process at Scensora follows a defined sequence of steps that varies by service. In all cases:

• Your Scent Sommelier will contact you within 24–36 hours of confirmed payment to initiate your project
• The process involves active collaboration between you and your Sommelier — your timely participation is essential to project progress
• Sample fragrances are handcrafted specifically for you and cannot be reused or transferred to other clients
• Production of your final fragrance begins only upon your explicit written approval of a sample direction
• Your final formula is archived under your name and remains available for reorder indefinitely

Scensora commits to treating every project with the same level of care, craft and dedication — regardless of the service level or price point. The quality of your fragrance is our primary obligation.

Scensora commits to the following obligations under this policy:

• We will proactively contact you at every stage of the process to ensure progress is maintained
• We will send reminder communications at 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, and 150 days if a project has not yet been completed
• We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your schedule for consultations, sample reviews and approvals
• We will never allow a project to lapse without communication on our part

Client obligations under this policy:

• Clients are expected to respond to Sommelier communications within a reasonable timeframe (14 days for non-urgent decisions)
• Sample reviews and feedback should be provided within 30 days of receiving samples
• Final approval must be granted within the 6-month project window

If a project reaches the 6-month limit due to client non-response or inaction despite repeated reminders, Scensora reserves the right to consider the project concluded. In such cases, the payment is non-refundable as creative and material work will have been invested. Any completed samples or work-in-progress will be held for a further 30 days before being discarded.

If a project cannot be completed within 6 months due to circumstances on Scensora's side, we will notify you promptly and extend the project at no additional cost, or offer a full refund at your discretion.

Scensora is committed to creating a fragrance that you genuinely love. Our revision policy reflects this commitment while maintaining the integrity of the creative process:

• Signature Scent: Up to two rounds of sample revisions are included in the service price
• Bespoke Atelier Experience / Couple's / Anniversary: Up to three rounds of sample revisions are included
• Gift Experience: Up to two rounds of sample revisions are included

Additional revision rounds beyond the included allowance may be available at a supplementary charge, at Scensora's discretion. We will always advise you before any additional charges are applied.

A "revision" constitutes a meaningful creative adjustment to the fragrance formula based on your specific written feedback. Minor production variations that fall within acceptable quality tolerances do not constitute a revision.

Your bespoke fragrance formula is created exclusively for you. Upon final payment and delivery:

• The fragrance formula is archived under your name and reference number
• Scensora retains the right to produce the formula for reorders placed by you
• Scensora will not sell, reproduce, share, or use your formula for any third party without your explicit written consent
• You may not reproduce the formula independently without the consent of Scensora
• Scensora retains the creative and technical intellectual property of the formula as a trade composition

The fragrance created for you is unique. We take the confidentiality of your brief, your preferences and your formula seriously as a matter of professional integrity.

All Scensora fragrances are formulated in compliance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines. However:

• Clients are responsible for disclosing any known fragrance allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions in their questionnaire or during consultation
• Scensora cannot be held liable for adverse reactions where sensitivities were not disclosed prior to formulation
• All clients are advised to perform a patch test on a small area of skin before wearing a new fragrance
• Pregnant clients should consult a healthcare professional before wearing new fragrances
• If you experience any adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and contact us

Scensora's liability in connection with any service is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services or products.

Scensora is not responsible for delivery delays caused by courier services, customs clearance, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise agreed in writing between Scensora and the client.

For clients outside Malaysia, these Terms remain binding. We encourage any concerns to be raised directly with us before pursuing formal dispute resolution — the vast majority of issues can be resolved through open communication.

Scensora reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify existing clients of material changes by email where possible.
